  1. i think that bridgestone tires is a well known company. they will benefit from this because it will spread their name around more. when a companys name is everywhere people always think of their product. that will make more people buy their product. this deal will create more buisnsessfor bridgeststone.

  2. the fact that a companys name is everywhere is key to getting more business. people see it everywhere they go so it will have them thinking about it more and more often. it will also benefit the Nashville because it will bring more profit in for both the company and the team. it is always a gamble when you put your name out there but it is defintly worth the price because it will promote business, which is always good. its just another great marketiing idea.

  3. Bridgestone tires and the Predators contract is worth the money and would benefit both organizations. Though it seems to be a benefit more towards the Predators side because the name of Bridgestone tires is already well known world wide. It will also benefit Bridgestone tires too because they are taking on more sponsorships in various athletic departments and contantly spreading their name alongside sports teams. It's a good marketing aspect on both sides of the deal but especially for the Nashville Predators. Consumers will notice and they will pay attention to things like this, especially if their banner is already hung in the stadium.

  4. Bridgestone would gain more name recognition from the hockey fans. Every day in the stadium their name would be announced to the fans. The more people hear their name the more they will just think to buy from bridgestone because it is a name they recognize as being a brand affiliated with their sports team. Nameing rights is a good promotional strategy for getting the name of their brand out and being able to advertise greatly within the stadium.

I think that getting naming rights deals is definitly worth the money because everyone would then affiliate the sports team with the brand. People would also just hear the name every time they watch a sporting event there. I don't think customers really pay a lot of attention to it but the attention that they do give is worth it to the company. People really don't care a whole lot who is in the name of their stadium but they do know who it is. It is a good marketing idea just because the name will be spread around more, especially in thatt area.

  5. If Bridgestone has the arena name, maybe when people think of tires they will think of bridgestone. Also bridgestone might be able to advertise their business in the games. Another thing is, is that if they keep hearing the name Bridgestone, when they think about where they should buy new tires they will think of the staduim and Bridgestone, so maybe they can both make money.

I think naming rights is a big deal because if a customer goes to a stadium that has a bad name they might not want to go there anymore. Customers do pay atttention, when they look at their tickets they are going to see the stadium name, and if it is bad they will think that they wasted their money on the ticket. Also it is a good marketing idea because they could advertise their product on the ticket and in the games.

  6. A naming rights deal for Bridgestone Tires with the Nashville Predators would be beneficial for their business. Since they are already somewhat well known, having the staduim named as 'Bridgestone Arena' will bring more popularity for them. Also, since Bridgestone has other sponsorship deals, adding another one that is very popular espically in Nashville will do them justice. It's a very strategic move for the marketing aspect of both the Predators and Bridgestone.

Mostly, naming rights do matter. If there is a well-known sponsor of a venue which the venue is named after, people will remember it. In most aspects, they are worth the money, especially if the venue is very popular, such as the Verizon Center where many events are held, lots of money is made, and lots of people pass through. Most consumers do pay attention, which then will make them notice the name in other places, which perhaps will make them buy their products. I think that it is a good marketing idea because the more the company gets their name out, the more their popularity will rise, and eventually, an increase in profit.

  7. Bridgestone tires is a well known company that a lot of people know because of it's name. I think that a lot of people choose Bridgestone tires because of it's popularity and it's reviews that it receives. Bridgestone will benefit from this because having one more team that they sponsor makes the company look good. I would find a company admirable if they supported so many things. Bridgestone tires could also benefit from this because it will make their name more known because when you go the arena you have the name stuck in your head so Bridgestone tires will now be familiar to the arena customers.

I think that naming right's deals are worth it because it makes your company's name well known which will bring in money for the company when people start using their product. It's a good marketing idea because it benefits both the team and the company. It benefits the team because when they are sponsored by such a great company it makes the Predators stand out. I think that some customers don't really realize the name on the stadium. But when some people see the name they trust that's a good company and go out and buy their product.

  8. Bridgestone makes tires for all kinds of vehicles. Bridgestone is known nationally and can catch some attention. This could be could for both team and arena because both are helping each other promote. Naming rights are good because a well known company can put a name on a stadium and will have more people buying their products. Bridgestone is a good sponsorship because everyone needs to buy tires. The name brand will attract people to come watch the games and will get money out of it.
With naming rights i think it s good. A good smart name brand sponsoring a good team. For example american airlines center for mavericks. It depends if its a good brand or a good team. An unknown brand wouldnt help as much but it will have people wondering what it is and might go buy their products.

  9. Bridgestone Tires is a very big company. They are all over the world. They got naming rights to the Nashville Predators hockey team. This is a great way to make money for the both of them. They will get more customers/audiences. It will help the team out too because a lot of people use Bridgestone Tires company.

Naming rights to a company is good because it helps out both of the two companies/teams involved in the deal. Its worth the money because the more people the company has the team will get more fans. Consumers will pay more attention because they will watch the team more or the fans will use the company.

  11. Bridgestone Tires is a well known company and as long as they are advertising their company throughout the Nashville arena they will get recognition for it. Visitors of the arena will see their name throughout the stadium and that will get them customers. Any naming rights of sports arenas is always good for recognition of the company so all in all i think that its a good call for Bridgestone.

Is it worth the money? Of course! Risky though? Of course! Anything that can put your companies name out there to the public is a smart plan of action. It may be risky long-term, but its a risk that any company such as Bridgestone should be willing to take.

  12. Bridgestone Tires is smart for offering a naming rights contract for the Predators. If they succeed in this, they will receive a lot of home support in Nashville, and maybe even all of Tennessee. If Bridgestone shows it's a family company, it expands its fan base. If it shows it supports hockey, then it expands its fan base. The more fan base, the more consumers of their products. It's a brilliant idea to hit 2 birds with 1 stone, and go for a hockey stadium.

I think naming rights are great for teams and for sponsors. The teams get money for upkeep. The sponsors get a lot of exposure. Exposure is the first step to selling a product. If more people see it, than more people will recognize it, and more people will talk about it, and everyone knows that the more people talk about your product, the more people buy it. It is a great move for a sponsor, it's getting its product out there. Always smart to do that.

  13. Bridgestone tires is obviously a very profitable company and a big name not only in Nashville but in the sports world and they are getting the attention they well deserve. Naming rights could benifit their business because after seeimg their name spread across an arena so many times a wondering eye could only look for so long without wanting to know what's it's about. When a customer see a business name everywhere or trademark they assume that there have to be something good and satifactory about them to get the attention they are recieving.
I think naming rights are good for advertising but I also think there should be a minimum amount of property and postings that companies chhose to place there ads because it leaves little room for other companies to get their recognition. Naming rightsand deals are worth the money to expand a company. Depending on the set up of the ad and the genre they do catch a consumers eye.

  14. bridgestone is a well known company. It is a sponser with alot of big events. It might even have a arena named after it that would even make it more popular than before because when anybody goes to the arena they'll see bridgestown everywhere and they'll start to think of the producted and what it does and if it would benefit them. So they might juss try it out. And it is worth the money.

  15. Getting your companies' name pasted on a sports stadium is a great idea, and the case with Bridgestone and the Nashville Predators is no exception. Despite not being directly affiliated with the sport, it is still a smart move by Bridgestone. This is because having your name on a stadium that people go to and is televised nationally just creates more brand recognition. It's almost like having a constant giant bilboard. The money Bridgestone pays to put their name up should be quickly passed by the revenue it creates.
I think the involvement of companies in sports arenas is a great idea, whether they are related to the sport or not. Consumers definitely pay attention to the name of the stadium where their favorit team plays. I think something that also has to play into the picture is the success of the team. In the NBA for example, I know about the Lakers at Staples Center or the Cavs at Quicken Loans Arena, but I couldn't for the life of me say where the Nets play. Because of this, companies should probably start paying to stamp their name on a product based on how successful it is, and how much natiaonal exposure it has. The Celtics, Lakers, and Cavs all have much more nationally televised games than teams like the Wizards and Kings.

  16. Bridgestone is very lucky to be sponsoring the Predators, they already highly recognized throughout the world, and another sponorship could not hurt them. The sponsorship deal will benefit both the NHL team and Bridgestone as it will draw in attention on both sides of the industry. The association with the team will help Bridgestone ingrain their logo in the minds of the public ultimately bringing in huge profits towards their company. The beauty of the sponsorship for Bridgestone is that they will be getting their attention at a very low price.

In my opinion I think that naming rights in general is a brillant idea. If you have the money and your a huge company, it can't hurt to put in some money and promote your product through the sports industry. Most likely the bigger companies will sponsor big teams in their respective sports and will get very huge attention from their public. I believe that customer although they may not realize it,big companies are ingraining their logos into their heads so they will most likely go out and buy their product sooner or later. Marketing is a very good idea as it gives an opportunity for everyone to benefit, consumers and sells people.

  17. anytime you can put your name out there it can only benefit your business. Bridgestone is already a well known and well respected tire dealership. Giving naming rights will only help their business out, it cant hurt them. Everytime one of these games will be televised or broadcasted, Bridgestone will get some exposure. Their name will be imbedded into people minds eveerytime this team plays at home

I think naming rights is one of the best ways to get your name out there. People will see your business and think about it on a regular basis. I think it is definately worth the money. The team doesnt even have to be good, since every team will pretty much play at that stadium at one point during the season you will still get exposure and clients. Consumers also pay attention. I bet if you asked a hardcore sports fan the name of their team's stadium they could tell you without any hesitation

  18. posting your product in a stadium is probably one of the greatest ways to put your product out. bridgestone is making a good descion putting their product in the nashville stadium. more people attend sporting events then their own kids birthday events. if the advertising was in a better and more popular staduim then they might get the word out quicker.
